Triethanolamine (TEA) is a viscous organic compound that is both a tertiary amine and a triol. A triol is a molecule with three alcohol groups. Triethanolamine is a strong base. It is a colourless compound although samples may appear yellow because of impurities. Triethanolamine is used primarily in making surfactants, such as for emulsifier. It is a common ingredient in formulations used for both industril and consumer products.

Applications:

Diethanolamine often abbreviated as DEA or DEOA, is an organic compound with the formula HN(CH2CH2OH)2. Pure diethanolamine is a white solid at room temperature, but its tendency to absorb water and to supercool mean it is often encountered as a colorless, viscous liquid.

Aluminium sulfate is a chemical compound with the formula Al2(SO4)3. It is used as a reagent for the synthesis of organic compounds. Potassium permanganate is used extensively in the water treatment industry. It is used to treat drinking water for iron, manganese and sulfur odours. It can be used as a disinfectant as well, keeping drinking water free of harmful bacteria. It is a strong oxidizing agent.
