Description
RXSOL Cooling Pad Cleaner CP is a specialized cleaning formulation developed for the maintenance and cleaning of evaporative cooling pads and associated water distribution components. It helps remove accumulated mineral deposits, scale residues, and stubborn inorganic dirt that can build up during prolonged operation.
The product supports the restoration of clean pad surfaces and helps maintain effective water distribution and airflow through suitable cooling media. Regular cleaning, when performed in accordance with equipment manufacturer recommendations, can help maintain cooling system performance and reduce the accumulation of deposits.
Application
RXSOL Cooling Pad Cleaner CP is intended for evaluating and cleaning suitable components of evaporative cooling systems, including:
- Evaporative cooling pads.
- Industrial air-cooling pad assemblies.
- Cooling media affected by mineral deposits.
- Compatible water distribution channels and associated components.
- Suitable cooling pad surfaces requiring periodic descaling.
Important: Confirm compatibility with the specific cooling pad material and equipment manufacturer's recommendations before use. Do not assume suitability for cellulose, paper-based, impregnated, coated, or polymeric media without compatibility testing.
Dosage & directions
How to effectively CLEAN Cooling Pad Scale Deposits?
- The correct cleaning procedure depends on the cooling pad material, deposit type, deposit thickness, and equipment design.
- Switch off the cooling system and isolate the relevant equipment before cleaning.
- Inspect the cooling pads for mineral deposits, physical deterioration, and material damage.
- Consult the cooling pad manufacturer to confirm chemical compatibility and the approved cleaning method.
- Determine the appropriate dilution, application quantity, and contact time through a controlled preliminary trial.
- Apply the product using compatible equipment and suitable chemical-resistant protective equipment.
- Avoid allowing the product to dry on the surface.
- After the prescribed contact period, thoroughly rinse the cleaned surfaces with clean water using the equipment manufacturer's recommended procedure.
- Ensure that residual cleaner is removed and that the system is suitable for recommissioning before returning it to service.
Product can be directly sprayed on the cooling pad. NOTE: Always test the product on small area before wide scale application.
Handling & precautions
Fast-acting descaler developed to dissolve mineral scale, rust, and water deposits from boilers, heat exchangers, pipelines, and water-cooled equipment. It enhances plant efficiency, lowers maintenance costs, and minimizes downtime — all without requiring heat during cleaning. This non-combustible, non-flammable formula is safe to handle and can even be used while equipment is in operation. Highly effective against calcium carbonate buildup with minimal manpower. Not recommended for aluminum surfaces.
