Description

Application

1-(4-Fluorophenyl)piperazine was used in the synthesis of N,N-disubstituted piperazine. It is a major metabolite of niaparazine, a sedative, a hypnotic drug.

Notes

Air sensitive. Store under inert gas. Store away from air, oxidizing agents.

Procedure

Dissolve the contents of 1 packet of granules in 57 mL (about 2 ounces) of water, milk, or fruit juice.
