Application
RXSOL Marine Surface Cleaning Gel is a proposed high-performance acidic cleaning gel developed for removing light-to-medium rust, mineral deposits, salt contamination, algae, biofilm and other inorganic deposits from compatible industrial and marine surfaces.
The formulation is intended to cling to vertical and irregular surfaces, increasing chemical contact time and reducing runoff during cleaning.
It is designed for applications involving marine vessels, offshore platforms, industrial equipment, shipyard maintenance and surface preparation before coating.
The reference Valhall Gel is a yellow, acidic surface cleaner with a pH below 2, designed for application by airless spray, brush or roller.

Remove loose dirt, grease and oil using a suitable degreaser.

Apply RXSOL Marine Surface Cleaning Gel by brush, roller or compatible spray equipment.

Begin with a small-area test and establish the required contact time; do not allow the gel to dry.

Rinse thoroughly using clean water, preferably with controlled high-pressure washing where the substrate permits.

Inspect the cleaned surface and repeat treatment if necessary.

Dry the surface before subsequent maintenance or coating.
Avoid application to galvanized steel, zinc-rich coatings and untested aluminium or sensitive painted surfaces. Acidic cleaning can damage these substrates. The reference manufacturer's guidance also specifically excludes zinc-based surfaces.
