Hardness control is a highly soluble, dry powder product used for the reduction of hardness in boilers. It will precipitate calcium hardness as a non-adherent sludge.

Hardness control transforms scaling salts like carbons, sulphates, and calcium or magnesium chlorides in phosphates that do not adhere to the exchange surfaces and are easily blowed down. It is used in conjunction with alkalinity control for the prevention of scale and corrosion in low and high-pressure boiler systems.

Activated alumina ball is a white sphere, insoluble in water and organic solvent, soluble in strong acidic and alkaline solutions, moisture adsorptive in air, not expanding and cracking after adsorbing water. Activated alumina ball has the characters of high strength, resistance to sulfate poisoning and good thermal stability. 

Caustic Soda also known as Sodium hydroxide is a white, deliquescent solid. It is highly hygroscopic and absorbs the moisture, carbon dioxide or sulfur dioxide in the air. Sodium hydroxide is used as an industrial cleaning agent and can dissolve grease, oils, fats and protein-based deposits.

Its solution in water used to clean process equipment, storage tanks, waste discharge pipes under sinks and drains in domestic properties. Surfactants can be added to the sodium hydroxide solution in to stabilize dissolved substances and thus prevent redeposition.
