Tri ethylene glycol also known as TEG or triglycol is a colourless, viscous, odourless, non-volatile liquid with the formula C6H14O4.  Tri ethylene glycol is well known for its hygroscopic quality and its ability to dehumidify fluids. It is used as a plasticizer for vinyl polymers. It is also used in air sanitizer products. When aerosolized it acts as a disinfectant. Triethylene glycols are also used as liquid desiccants for natural gas. It is an additive for hydraulic fluids and brake fluids and is used as a base for smoke machine fluid in the entertainment industry.

Diethylene Glycol (DEG) is an organic compound with the formula (HOCH2CH2)2O. It is a colorless, practically odorless, poisonous, and hygroscopic liquid with a sweetish taste. It is a low-volatile, low viscous liquid. It is completely miscible with water and many organic liquids.

Mono Ethylene Glycol also called as ethane-1,2-diol is an organic compound with the formula (CH2OH)2. It is an odorless, colorless, sweet-tasting, viscous liquid. Mono ethylene glycol is moderately toxic. Monoethylene glycol is an important raw material for industrial applications.

Butanol also called  n-butyl alcohol or n-butanol is a primary alcohol with the chemical formula C4H9OH. Butanol is used as a solvent for a wide variety of chemical and textile processes, in organic synthesis and as a chemical intermediate. It is also used as a paint thinner and a solvent in other coating applications. n-Butanol is used as an ingredient in perfumes and as a solvent for the extraction of essential oils.  

Isopropyl Alcohol also called as propan-2-ol or isopropanol is a compound with the chemical formula C3H8O. It is a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor. Isopropyl Alcohol is a highly effective, general use cleaning solvent that is used to clean a variety of substrates and remove a variety of soils. It can also be found in antifreezes, glass cleaners, jewellary cleaner, stain removers, household disinfectants, and hand sanitizers.

Butyl Acetate, also known as butyl ethanoate, is a chemical compound with a molecular formula C6H12O2. It is a colorless flammable liquid at room temperature. It is an anti-corrosive agent. Butyl acetate is highly miscible with all common organic solvents but has only slight miscibility in water. Butyl acetate is an aliphatic linear ester commonly used as an organic solvent in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries and as a flavoring agent in food industry.

Ethyl Acetate is the organic compound with the formula C4H8O2. This colorless liquid has a characteristic sweet smell. Ethyl acetate is used primarily as a solvent and diluent. It is manufactured on a large scale for use as a solvent.  In the laboratory, mixtures containing ethyl acetate are commonly used in column chromatography and extractions. It is commonly used to clean circuit boards and in some nail varnish removers.  Coffee beans and tea leaves are decaffeinated with this solvent. It is also used in paints as an activator or hardener.

Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) also known as Butanone , is an organic compound with the formula CH3C(O)CH2CH3. It is colorless liquid has a sharp, sweet odor.

Methyl isobutyl ketone is a stable, colorless liquid having pleasant odor with the formula (CH3)2CHCH2C(O)CH3. It is slightly soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents. It is useful for liquid-liquid extraction also extraction of gold, silver and other precious metals from cyanide solutions.

Methyl isobutyl ketone is also used as a denaturing agent for denatured alcohol. It is both a medium-boiling and a medium-evaporating solvent. This is used as a solvent for gums, resins and varnishes.

Acetone also called 2-propanone or dimethyl ketone is an organic compound with the formula (CH3)2CO. It is a colorless, volatile, flammable liquid. Acetone is miscible with water and serves as an important solvent in cleaning purposes in laboratories. Acetone is most commonly known as the solvent that removes nail polish, but it is also found in bath and fragrance products, hair and skin care products, skin-lightening products and as paint thinner. Acetone is commonly used in chemical peeling.
